We Are All In This Together – A Message From Cradle Mountain Lodge

Since the Cradle Mountain Lodge l opened in the 1970s we’ve welcomed countless global wanderers into our home. It’s this very concept of a “home away from home” that has introduced us to so many people from all walks of life – people we’re proud to call lifelong friends, even family!

We hope that you are all safe, in good health and are looking after yourselves – and looking after your neighbours and your communities.

We’re mindful that fear, worry and the need to contain the spread of the virus plaguing the world means your travel plans are uncertain, and consequently we recognise we’ll be seeing a lot less of you. That said, we’re going to continue to provide a sanctuary for those that can travel to the best region on the planet (in our opinion). Our doors are open and our dedicated team is standing by to provide everyone with a safe environment to go about their getaway.

We do wish to advise we are putting all measures in place to ensure the cleanliness of our lodge is maintained to the highest standard. We will continue to ensure sanitisers are on standby throughout the lodge; our cabins are cleaned to the highest standard; and we are doing our utmost to ensure the Lodge is a safe environment for guests, staff and visitors. We will operate as per usual in the coming months, and welcome anyone who wishes to get away from the current stresses of the outside world, and come up and connect with nature at [the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain National Park]. All our rooms are spread out across our wonderful resort to deliver a sense of isolation and a way to connect with your loved one (as well as a few of the local wombats).

We’ve heard from a lot of you in the past few weeks but a reminder to those of you that need to amend your stay, or have any questions about your stay, just reach out to us by via [email protected] and we’ll help to ensure you make it to our mountain soon.
